The Solas Group
We think this witty short by the Solas Group is a great example of how film can be really short but still be a film. Make sure you've got sound otherwise it won't make sense.
Created by The Solas Group (Dublin) in collaboration with UK based musician Tom Hill (Penfold Plum, Origami Biro). ‘If a tap screams then maybe a bird could also. This short film looks at the conflict between sound and image, reflection and the absurd, nature and humour.

The Solas Group films were recently shown at the Langsett Inn International Film Festival, Sheffield, Feb 2007 and Liquid Room Video Expo, Lithuania, April 2007. The group is led by Tristan Hutchinson (LE) and originate from Nottingham. The group are now based in Dublin.
